These pretty little earrings are made out of light weight but durable red clay that is mined in the Southwest.  They are plated with 22k yellow gold plate and the bottom dangle is glazed with a hunter green glaze.  The real pheasant feathers are hand-picked to enhance the color of the glaze.  They measure approximately 2 inches long and .5 inches wide.
